Papergirl SF is an annual mail-art and delivery systems art project that collects artwork from all over the world and, in the style of American paperboys, distributes the art freely by bicycle to people in the streets of San Francisco. Sound awesome? We think so, too.
Roll & Ride 2011 at Arch Drafting Supply!
Hello Folks! It’s that Papergirl time of year again, with 3 days left to go until the day of distribution. This year we have teamed up with Arch Drafting Supply, a really rad local art store located at the bottom of Potrero Hill, to host our Roll & Ride event and serve as the starting point on our distribution route. Read More below for our route map info...

We will be meeting at 11am on Saturday, October 29th, at Arch Drafting Supply (99 Missouri Street at the corner of 17th) to begin rolling the submitted artwork. After the rolling is finished, we’ll load up our bike baskets, panniers and messenger bags, hop on our bikes, and begin the distribution ride through the city!

Where will we be going you ask? Starting at Arch, we’ll take 17th to Harrison, head down to 24th, loop back up Valencia, take the wiggle to the panhandle, swing up to Clement Street, and end in Golden Gate Park! Don’t worry about retaining all that info, Nazir will be our ride leader and he knows the way!
For those who can’t participate in the Roll & Ride, if you happen to be out and about along the route when the bicycle troupe rides by, just give us a holler and we’ll toss some PG art your way!

[Mac from Arch!]
Anyone can join us for the Roll & Ride, just show up at Arch at 11am with your bikes and baskets. Light snacks and water will be provided for those participating, but we recommend eating a big breakfast or brunch beforehand.

Whatever it is, Arch probably has it. Love a good art store!

You can't visit Arch without meeting the famous Otto. Yeah, he's pretty awesome.
