Papergirl SF is an annual mail-art and delivery systems art project that collects artwork from all over the world and, in the style of American paperboys, distributes the art freely by bicycle to people in the streets of San Francisco. Sound awesome? We think so, too.
Papergirl SF 2011 has begun!
Welcome everyone to the new Papergirl SF 2011 website!
It's has been a while since you've heard a peep out of us, but that's because we've been on vacation and/or working diligently to get this drupal wonder up and running! The site is currently populated with information from last years project, but don't worry, it will all be updated with new content as soon as your work starts rolling in!
Needless to say, we are all stoked about PG 2011. Last years turn out was simply amazing and thanks to our wonderful partners, Mission Bicycle Company and Public Bikes, and our grant provider, The SF chapter of the Awesome Foundation, PG 2010 was a total success!
We are looking forward to this years distribution and all the wonderful artwork we hope to receive from all you talented and prolific artists world wide. With over 1800 pieces submitted and distributed last year, we hope to have as many (if not tons more) for this year, so we can spread even more of the Papergirl love and artful cheer around the Bay Area.

If you're thinking of participating for 2011, be sure to check out the PARTICIPATE link at the top of this page. All the guidelines and volunteer options will be listed there. If you want to learn more about this great project or who we are, please check out the ABOUT page for the full rundown!
To check out some of last years project, head on over to our Picasa album (right up there under the contact link) for all the wonderful documentation!
